Custom COMMISSIONS

I create custom paintings in encaustic, soft pastel, and acrylic - each one made to order from your reference photo, with care taken to capture personality, expression, and the quiet presence that makes your subject uniquely themselves. Whether it’s a beloved horse, a cherished pet, or a meaningful moment, I’d love to create something lasting for you.

Let’s Get Started

Commissioning a painting is a personal process, and I want it to feel easy. Here’s what to think about before reaching out:

Subject - Who or what would you like painted? Equine portraits, beloved pets, and special people are all close to my heart.

Medium - I work in three media, each with its own character:

                •             Encaustic - painted in layers of pure beeswax, with a luminous, tactile depth unlike anything else

                •             Soft Pastel - rich and velvety, with beautiful color saturation

                •             Acrylic - versatile and vibrant, well-suited to a range of styles

Not sure which is right for you? I’m happy to talk it through.

Size - Common sizes range from 8×10 to 16×20 and beyond. If you have a wall space in mind, mention it and we’ll figure out what fits.

Your photos - A clear, well-lit reference photo makes all the difference. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect — just share what you have and we’ll talk about what works.
