South Sound Studio Tours — First Stop Exhibition

I’m excited to share that my encaustic painting Between Strides will be on view at the Copper Wolf Gallery in Tumwater this spring, as part of a group exhibition featuring artists participating in the South Sound Studio Tours.

The opening reception is Thursday, May 7, from 5 to 7 PM. I’d love to see you there. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists in person and experience the work up close before the studio tours begin later in May.

The South Sound Studio Tours take place May 30–31, and this exhibition serves as a first stop, a chance to connect with the art and the artists before stepping into their working studios.

Between Strides is an encaustic painting made with beeswax medium I prepare by hand in my studio. If you’ve been curious about the encaustic process, I’m always happy to talk about it.
