Imagine horses greeting everyone who passes through downtown Olympia — that’s exactly what could happen if Welcoming Committee is selected for the City’s Traffic Box Wrap Project!
The City of Olympia is inviting the public to vote for their favorite designs from 100 local artist submissions. The top 10 will be printed as vinyl wraps and installed on traffic boxes around town this summer and fall. How fun would it be to have some equine ambassadors welcoming people to our city?
How to vote
Voting is open now through June 30, 2026 — and you don’t have to be an Olympia resident to cast your vote!
Here’s how:
1. Visit engage.olympiawa.gov
2. Create a free Engage Olympia account
(or sign in if you have one)
3. Find Welcoming Committee and vote!
You can vote for as many designs as you like, so please share this with your horsey friends, horse lovers, and anyone who thinks Olympia deserves a little more equine energy on its street corners. 🐴
