New works

It has been fun getting back into the studio and working with some new ideas. Recently I have been working with encaustics and mixed media, and finding some exciting effects. It has been fun watching the elements fuse together and have their own way of moving under the heat of the blow torch. The paintings truly start to have a life of their own during the process. Below are some of the recent works. I already have my panels primed and ready for another session. Finding myself dreaming of the paintings that are yet to be put onto panel. Excited.
