We have a little studio outside our house, that originally was going to be my art studio. When it was first set up, there was a massive table that was not level in there, and it was turned the wrong way, and it felt tight in there because of the layout. So for a long time I took over the dining room table. The light was great, the big bay window overlooking the garden inspirational, the wax getting on the floor, the complaining from the family we want the dining room back...
The studio space had gone through some changes too. From unhappy art space to storage to a little guest room, back to semi storage..... I found an old table on craigslist that was perfect for the art studio. So, there was a big move around from dining room to art studio, and I am happy. Family is happy. It feels spacious, inviting and it works. Yay! So off to making encaustic medium and settling in. :)
